Neyland Stadium on the campus of the University of Tennessee has been home to the Big Orange since 1921 with a capacity of 3,200. Now Neyland Stadium is the largest stadium in the south and the 3rd largest stadium in the country with a capacity of 102,037.
The record crowd for a football game at Neyland Stadium was set September 18, 2004 with 109,061 fans watching the Tennessee Volunteers beat the Florida Gators 30 to 28 breaking the record set in 2000 between the Gators and the Vols. The attendance that day 108,768.
